As a man you should have at least some basic skills with tools and have some essential tools on hand. Look for the post about tools for more info on a guide to the basic tools. This link is specifically for an impact driver and a drill. Stay away from the cheep brands, they are made poorly and will break or just simply not work or worse, catch on fire. The 3 leading brands in order I suggest are DeWalt, Milwaukee, and Ryobi. DeWalt and Milwaukee are contractor grade and Ryobi is okay. DeWalt has a larger variety available. One thing I would suggest is to stick with one brand and not different ones so that you can save cost on batteries and space on different chargers. Of course with these you’ll need to grab a bit set and drill bit set.
